Getting started

What's the Arka process, step by step?

Firstly, you place an order. Secondly, depending on how you've elected to design your packaging, you can proof instantly or we'll send you a design proof of your box(es) within 2 business days. Thirdly, once the proof is approved your boxes go into production. And lastly, you'll receive a shipment notification email once your boxes are on their way to you!

How is my price determined?

Your price is determined by the box type, sizing, and material you select. Designs on the outside of the box are free!

If I place a reorder, do I have to re-submit all my artwork again?

Nope! We'll keep a record of your design details (your creation), so reordering is simple and easy.

What file format should I submit my design in?

For images or logo files, we recommend 300dpi or larger in one of the following formats: PNG, PSD, PDF, ESP, or Ai. If customers would like to submit their own dielines, we recommend the dieline in one of the following formats: PDF or Ai.

Can I order a sample before placing a full production run?

We always recommend just placing a quick 10-box order, that way you can evaluate the designs with your business and friends. If you still prefer a 1-box sample, reach out to support@arka.com about the sample you're looking for and we'll get the sample process going for you.

Pricing & Refunds

After proof approval process begins we can’t issue a refund. Boxes are pushed into production the moment they are approved and materials are purchased 2 business days after purchase. Reprints on structural issues or design issues are accepted within reason 30 days purchase and once delivered.

How long is the production time?

Please note: All dates are presented as estimates only and are not guaranteed. Production turnarounds may change without notice as conditions change rapidly to adjust to incoming order volume. We are unable to further expedite orders beyond our offered turnarounds, move orders up in the production line, split orders out, or otherwise move anything from how it comes into our production queue. Current Production Turnarounds (Subject to change).

*Standard Production: 7-10 business days.

*Rush Production: 3-6 business days.

Please note:

  • Shipping transit is not included in the above-listed turnaround times. We recommend factoring in 1-2 weeks for Ground/Economy LTL shipping transit in case of carrier delays.
  • Larger orders (1000-2000+ units, depending on size of box) may require up to 15 business days for production.
  • Your production turnaround starts the following business day after your proof is approved. Shipping transit is separate and may take 1-7 business days or more depending on your location and shipping carrier volume. Larger orders requiring freight shipping with require additional time.
  • Due to the complexity of custom manufacturing, all dates are estimated. While the great majority of our orders ship on time, we do not guarantee our ship dates or delivery dates.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ):

Branded Mailer and Shipper Boxes: 1 unit
Branded Poly Mailers: 1,000 - 10,000 units (varies depending on design requirements)
Unbranded Mailer Boxes: 50 Units
Unbranded Shipper Boxes: 25 Units
Unbranded Poly Mailers: 1000 units
Cartons: 25 Units for Standard sizes & 250 units for Custom sizes
Stickers: 100 Units
Branded Tissue Paper: 5 Units
Branded Packaging Tape: 24, 36 or 72 Rolls (depending on size of tape)
